All I can say for sure is that I have now conquered 3 of the regions in one sitting (i.e. But I decided to take a chance and download it. I was weary at first too that it was a virus or trojan, it still might be. Then I stumbled onto a replacement launcher binary made (i think) by a player who had the same issue. I agree, I have the steam version and could not get passed the first mission (tried 3 times) without a crash to desktop.
